Sign in with Google

If you choose to sign in with Google, KickScout receives only your name, email address and Google account identifier (the openid, email and profile scopes). We use them to create your account and sign you in. We do not read your Gmail, contacts, calendar or any other Google data, and we do not share Google user data with third parties.

Collection and use of personal information

Consent to the collection and use of personal information What we collect: your email address, display name, password (stored only as a one-way hash), date of birth, country, account type, and the profile details you choose to add. Professionals and clubs also submit credential documents for manual review by our team. Why we collect it: to create and secure your account, to apply age and country protection rules, to show your profile to verified football professionals, and to operate messaging, Expressions of Interest and payments. Video analysis: match or training video is analysed inside your browser. The original video is not uploaded to our servers. Only the resulting numerical metrics are stored. AI video questions (optional, adults only): if you ask the AI a question about a clip, still frames from that clip are sent for analysis only after you agree on that screen, each time. For a public YouTube link, our server fetches the video temporarily to take the frames and deletes it immediately. Frames and videos are not stored. Retention: identifying information is deleted when you withdraw your account, except where the law requires us to keep records for longer. You may withdraw this consent at any time from your account settings. Without it we cannot provide the service.

Provision to third parties

Consent to provision of personal information to third parties Recipients: verified football professionals and clubs who use KickScout (profile information you have made visible), and payment providers when you make a purchase (only the details needed to process the payment). Purpose: scouting, contact and Expressions of Interest between players and verified professionals, and payment processing. Minors: profiles of players under the age of majority are shown only as allowed by the minor protection rules, and contact is routed through the legal guardian. You may withdraw this consent at any time. Your profile will then no longer be shown to other users.

Cross-border transfer

Consent to cross-border transfer of information To write the AI commentary in analysis reports, we send data to an AI provider located outside your country (Anthropic, PBC, United States). What is sent: an anonymous identifier and numerical analysis metrics only (for example speed, joint angles and balance scores). Your name, email address, contact details and video are never sent. When: each time an analysis report with AI commentary is generated. AI video questions: this optional feature sends still frames from a clip to the same provider. It is not covered by this consent - you are asked to agree on the screen every time you use it, and it is not available to minors. Retention by the recipient: according to the provider's data processing terms. You may withdraw this consent at any time. Without it we cannot provide AI commentary in reports.

Players under 18 and legal guardians

Legal guardian consent I confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian of the player who invited me, and I consent on the player's behalf to the collection and use, provision to third parties, and cross-border transfer of the player's information as described in the other consent documents. I understand that: contact from football professionals to the player is routed to me first and held for at least 24 hours; the player's profile is reviewed before it becomes visible; I can see who viewed the player's data, change profile visibility, and request deletion from the guardian dashboard. I may withdraw this consent at any time. Without it the player's account cannot be approved or remain active.
